Tomorrow, June 3, 2022, is the Dragon Boat Festival. The traditions of this holiday are eating sticky rice dumplings (zongzi), attending or participating dragon boat races, wearing perfume pouches, and hanging Chinese mugwort and calamus just to name a few.

September 21, 2021 is Mid-Autumn Festival. It’s also known as Moon Festival or Mooncake Festival. On this day, lanterns are carried and displayed as a symbolic beacons that light people’s path to prosperity and good fortune. During this festival it’s a tradition to eat mooncakes which is a rich pastry that filled with lotus seed paste, yolk, meat, etc.

Dragon Boat Festival aka Duanwu Festival, is a traditional and important Chinese holiday. To celebrate, people prepare and eat zongzi (Chinese tamales), and participate/watch dragon boat racing.
